WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
1. Scope
FL IMPORT AUTO primarily provides vehicle brokerage, vehicle searches, negotiation, documentation checks, import support and coordination of services related to purchasing a vehicle.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, FL IMPORT AUTO acts as an intermediary and is not necessarily the seller of the vehicle.
2. Consumers' right of withdrawal
When a service contract is concluded remotely or off-premises with a consumer, the consumer generally has a period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal, in accordance with the French Consumer Code.
A withdrawal request may be sent to: contact@flimportauto.fr, by means of a clear statement expressing the decision to withdraw.
3. Starting the service before the 14-day period expires
At the customer's express request, FL IMPORT AUTO may start providing the service before the statutory withdrawal period expires.
If the customer withdraws after the service has already begun at their express request, they remain liable for the amount corresponding to the services actually performed up to the withdrawal date, calculated proportionately to the agreed price.
Where the service has been fully performed before the withdrawal period ends, following the customer's express request and prior acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal will be lost after full performance, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised.
4. Fees and costs incurred
In the event of a valid withdrawal before any service begins, the relevant amounts are refunded in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
Where services have already been performed at the customer's express request, the portion corresponding to the work actually carried out may remain payable in accordance with the regulations.
Costs incurred with third parties — including checks, transport, expert assessments, documents, administrative services or other external costs — are handled under the relevant provider's terms and can only be refunded by FL IMPORT AUTO when those amounts are refunded to it, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
5. Vehicle purchase and return
When the vehicle is purchased directly from a partner or third-party seller, the cancellation, withdrawal, return, warranty or refund terms applicable to the vehicle sale are those set out in the contract with that seller and under applicable law.
FL IMPORT AUTO cannot refund, on behalf of a third-party seller, the price of a vehicle it did not itself sell.
When FL IMPORT AUTO is expressly identified as the vehicle seller on the contract or invoice, the rules applicable to that sale are specified in the relevant contract and the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
6. Refunds
When a refund is legally due following the exercise of the right of withdrawal, it is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after FL IMPORT AUTO is informed of the decision to withdraw, in accordance with applicable legal rules.
Refunds are generally made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.
7. Business customers
The statutory withdrawal rules applicable to consumers do not automatically apply to business customers. The terms applicable to B2B services are those set out in the quote, mandate, contract and Terms and Conditions of Sale.
